A tractor-trailer driver was charged after a crash on Highway 52 early Friday morning.

Officials said the crash occurred around 5:44 a.m. and is still impacting traffic. Officials said the crash impacted the southbound lanes near the Cook School Road exit.

The highway patrol said the tractor-trailer driver was carrying flour and went off the road and struck a guardrail before overturning and hitting a road sign while coming to a stop in the median.
